13.09.2010 - Dwersteg Distilery - Organic Brand of the year!
The food magazin "Lebensmittel Praxis" and the "Bioexperten Consulting Group" awarded german organic brands, which distinguish themselves from others in product quality, taste, organic commitment, sustainable corporate governance, social commitment as well as brand management and innovative strength. In the category "food retail market" the brand Herzberger from the Herzberger Bakery was awarded in gold, the second highest destinction was given to the brand Hipp and the brand Dwersteg Organic from the Dwersteg Distilery was awarded in bronze for their new products Amaro - Herbal Liqueur and Cassis - Blackcurrant-Liqueur.

17. - 20.2.2010 - BioFach - World´s Leading Organic Trade Fair
As one of the pioneers in the organic market we exhibit at the BioFach in Nürnberg, the World´s Leading Trade Fair for Organic Products (www.biofach.de), for already more than 10 years. This year we will again take part and present our Organic Liqueurs and Spirits to retail and import companies from all over the world. We are especially excited about the feedback for our new products "Amaro - Herbal Liqueur" and "Cassis - Blackcurrant Liqueur".

07.11.2009 - Dwersteg awarded „Best performing Organic Distillery“!
On the lookout for high quality spirits the BIO-Hotels tasted and awarded organic spirits and liqueurs in its 7th edition of the Best of BIO Award, the worlds` first award of its kind. A total of 264 products were submitted, tasted and evaluated by food and beverage experts, experts in sensory evaluation and specialist journalists. On 7th November 2009 the best products and companies have been awarded in Seehotel Zeulenroda, Germany´s first Bio-Congress Hotel. The Dwersteg Distillery, under the direction of Ludger Teriete, received various prizes for their liqueurs and was awarded „Best performing Organic Distillery“ in the overall evaluation.
